Never underestimate the stupidty of pro cyclists, they worked so hard to get back and then sat up when they were a couple of bike lengths behind expecting someone else to do the final bit.

Not only had he been in the break, he only cracked towards the top of the Paterberg, after MvdP had blown the rest of the break away.
He then chased solo for some kms before being caught by the other three.

I found it hilarious, MVDP kind of feigned resignation and then there was 2 secs of confusion in the chase and it's all over
