Puzzle game procrastinator!
Puzzle games appear to stave off various age-related brain conditions...

...perhaps you should give them a go?

Too late, I’m afraid
I like puzzle games. In fact, I am writing some of my own and will let you know if/when they escape into the outside world!

I remembered reading about The Room some time ago and thought that I might like it and this thread reminded me to give it a go so I have just been over to Google's Play Store. When I found it there, I discovered to my surprise that I had already bought it ... It must be too late for my old brain too - ha ha ha!

In my defence ... I think I had just installed the game on my old phone before I broke it, so I never got to play it much. I have now downloaded it to my new phone and will be playing it after I finish browsing New Posts.

I do recommend playing it on a tablet rather than a phone.
I was just thinking that myself!

My tablet is getting a bit tight for storage space and it does not have a memory expansion slot, but I'm sure that I can delete a few apps that I no longer use.

I thought you were off playing Tetris
I found a website recently which can run ancient games software. It features a simple Tetris clone called Nyet which I used to play a lot and I have got back into playing it. (Beware the annoying high score wrap-around at about 60,000 points! :cursing:)

I also recommend various editions of Lemmings, Leisure Suit Larry, and the Secret of Monkey Island. I'm sure that there are a lot of other classics waiting to be found on there. Oh yes - Time Bandit!

I’ve not had a lot of time to play, due to other commitments but it is really good. The graphics are superb oh the iPad.
I squeezed The Room (part 1) onto my Samsung tablet. It looks very good on that too, once I turn the brightness up. (I normally save the battery by turning the brightness down but I couldn't really see what was what with my default settings.)

If only you had a special looking glass to make it all a bit brighter.

Actually, I suspect that it is at 65,535, the highest number that can be stored in a 16-bit unsigned integer. I can't be sure because I am always frantically busy mopping up the pieces when it happens. But today I noticed that my score was 63,2xx, played on for another minute or so and finally lost control. At that point, the game said my high score was ... 459! :banghead:
