I was refurbishing a Mini 1275GT at the time. I spent the day spraying a new driver's door for it. Try as I might, I never quite got that door to match the rest of the car.....

I haven't been in the 10 Bells for years! I walked past it the other day and said to Hubster "I used to go in there regularly". He thinks that I am a lush. I wasn't in that day though as I was a mere 17 years old and somebody would have told my Dad! I did work that day though and had a day off in lieu. Horses have to be fed and watered regardless of who is getting married.

I thought this thread was going to be about Botty winning the Ashes. I remember that, as I was lying on my aunt's sofa on a very hot couple of days, running a temperature, it was truly dreamlike. But of course it was earlier in the summer.

Funny you should mention him. As I came out on to the road after the cyclepath at Hethel, there were tyre marks where somebody had been practicing their doughnuts. I did wonder if Matthew_T was on his holibobs in South Norfolk.
