2k on a bike

Looking for some info from those in the know if you had between 2 and 2-5 k to spend on a rd bike what would you go for

What sort of riding are you doing? Racing or more relaxed sportive style? What do you want it to be made of?

I fear you may get 100 different answers here!

For that money carbon club rides and maybe the odd sportive and general riding

Definitely carbon - you'll probably get a few titanium suggestions...or after more bling?

Do you have any brand preference?

Canyon bikes seem very well regarded, also Cube, as well as the US superbrands...not forgetting the Italians!

For that money it would have to be carbon with Di2 shifting

TBH, without even thinking about it I would just buy the highest spec Cannondale the money would get me. Probably the SuperSix with Ultegra or SRAM equivalent.
