^^^^^^^^^ cheers might lgo out to a few shops today see what I think
It's a lot of bike for the £££. I think there is one UK rep. Can someone clarify? I am not 100% sure how easy it is to get a test but quite a few people take the plunge based on the fact that in every group test that Canyon bikes are put into they win. Well everyone i have seen. It's all down to value. As they are internet only based they can keep their prices extremely low. If you choose to go down this route, and i hate to confuse matters, but Rose bikes are also exceptional value for the spec. They also allow the ability to configure every aspect of the bike including some very deducted wheels (Mavic cosmic's for one). I personally prefer Canyon IMO. My brother has a Canyon Nerve mountain bike and it's epic!Really like this. http://www.canyon.com/_uk/roadbikes/bike.html?b=2515
Nearly bought this exact bike but found a fantastic De Rosa that i could get a good run out in. Ended up going for the De Rosa as it was a stunning bike and beautiful to ride. I still look at the Canyon slx and drool. Serious bike for the £££.The Aeroad has a much more aggresive position than the other Canyons as I discovered when I had a Retul bike fit 2 weeks ago. Although it's not the same as a test ride it was £90 well spent as I knew what size to order!
I now have a lovely Ultimate stealth cf slx 8.0 sat in my lounge waiting for a ride out later today. It is incredibly light - go for it!
You defo can't buy from uk store but i think there is a rep who can arrange test rides. Or there was. Anybody have any insight on this? It's mail order Germany either way but a test ride is ideal and at least, like Mark, get a proper fitting.I don't think you can buy Canyon in store in the UK - don't they come from Germany?
It may just be me, but I am not sure I'd spend 2.5k on a bike online unless I was 110% what I wanted and what size
It's not black, but Sigma have some Focus bikes on sale, e.g. http://www.sigmasport.co.uk/p/22139/focus-izalco-team-ergoride-20-bicycle-2012/
