Great achievement.

Let's just say you started this recording journey when you were about 20. At 66 years of age that would equate to an average of 125 miles a week for 46 years!!

I salute you sir.

I started recording miles in a diary in 1990 at the age of 31, but obviously had been riding 15 odd years prior to date.
Back in the 90'' and early 00's and l was racing my annual mileage was around 4000 miles per year.
Back then it was quality miles over quantity.
That said l had pretty much a year off in 1991 after two knee operations and my new found replacement hobby of riding motorcycles.
Finally reverted back to cycling and started to up my mileage and my thought process changed to quantity over quality.
My annual mileage soon crept up to 8k and 10k per annum without a great deal of effort really.
Then over the last half a dozen years its consistently been a whisker over 18k miles. Unfortunately this year will buck that trend as my wife and l did a two week cruise in April so zero bike riding, so l expect my yearly total to be maybe mid 16k miles?
