I'm just back from watching Alice in Wonderland 3D.

There were also trailers for Doctor Who TV series, Toy Story 3 and some movie about dragons.

Sky also did an advert pre-movie re 3D TV which is coming later this year - not that I'll be getting it as I cannot stand Murdoch and rather not give him any money.

It was very impressive (and the movie was much better than I expected)...and the specs make everyone look like Joe 90 :evil:

I saw it too the other night in 3D. Enjoyed it.

I like the 3D glasses, it means I can fall asleep in movies without the family noticing...

I don't know whether it's my appaling colour vision, but 3D like in avaturd really didn't work for me. I'll give Alice a go just to be sure.
IMHO, if the film's any good, decent 2D is more than enough.

Mrs Noodley said the 3D effects were 'worth it' and the story was secondary to this.

I thought the story was fine (it's Alice in Wonderland! but there was a bit more added)...but the 3D did add a fair bit to it - seriously, watch it in 3D; it was good and added to the experience.

Sorry to be a dampener, to me it looked like an absolute load of crap. I would rather lick a toilet seat in a supermarket than go and see that film.

At least you enjoyed it though

I thought the story and presentation was a big improvement on Charlie and the Chocolate factor or even Sweeney Todd. I thought 3D did work pretty well, but 2D is so much for cinemas these days you might as well...
