I think this thread has run on for long enough.

.... 6 pages of cyclists planning retribution.

This is just fantasy aggression. A bit of metaphorical blood-letting. Surely no person here was actually planning retribution?


Anyway, you should go on a Motoring forum and look what the motons would like to do to cyclists in retribution for not paying road tax!

I have to say I'm not a big fan of threads that descend into retribution competitions. Of course, I am sure the vast majority are just part of a joke, but as ed mentioned, when non-cyclists look at the thread it doesn't look good.

I have actually had retribution type threads aimed at me personally elsewhere, and whilst it did not concern me (80% are hard men online, 0.05% are hard men offline) it still isn't very nice and certainly tainted my view of the people on that particular forum.

Best to rise above it IMO.
