My challenge this year is to ride 3000 miles, and yesterday I clocked up 1000 miles.

I've enjoyed every mile(well allmost), riding into work without a care in the world, meeting new people on here and while out on the bike on my weekend rides.

riding to work I use my mountain bike, days off and weekends I use the road bike.
I try to ride into work every day, but family life sometimes gets in the way of that.

over the 1st 1000 miles I've had 3 punctures, 7 near misses with cars/vans, the drivers who for some reason can't wait 5 seconds while I pass, and who pull out in front of you, thinking, oh it only a cyclist, drivers on roundabouts who simply don't have a clue who has the right of way,
Or the best one, a driver who over took me, then cut me up by turning left in front of me.

I've fell off the bike twice,
no 1, was a clipless moment
no 2, I fell off the bike crossing the tram tracks, and yes tarmac is very hard, and it hurts when you hit it.

Roll on the next 1000 miles, and even better, its getting warmer

The Glue that binds us together.
Now the better weather is coming you should well exceed the 3000, well done.
