A Bit Of A Bad Day Really

Sorry for thread hijack but I've just identified the problem I had upthread. All it was was a dodgy valve on the replacement tube. They are shrinkwrapped these days from Halfords which is good for space saving but doesn't encourage checking the valve works ok.

The others I bought were fine and from now on I'll test the valve before taking it as the spare.

I took the bike to the LBS today. The mechanic gave it the once over, tweaked the gears a little then sent me away with an all clear. It looks like it could've just been one of those things.
