A bit of advice on the underground please.

Oyster cards are now pretty much obsolete on the London transport system.j

I still use my Oyster card most weeks. I think I’ve probably owned the same card for 20 years. I didn’t realise I was such a dinosaur.
Maybe it’s time to ditch it and go contactless.

Don't forget the "walking" option. The tube will take about 30 mins. To walk, it is about 3 miles and will take just over an hour, but you can take in the sights of Oxford Street and a walk through Hyde Park.

If it was burny hot, and the train half an hour late, I would've considered that.

I still use my old one, must be similar age to yours. Although it is an identical colour to my debit card. Last time I was there, tapped in with an oyster, tapped out with debit card. Incomplete journey charge which i then had to get refunded!

And you'll probably get more sweaty on the train! Also consider an e-bike rental.
