It was a different world back then. That rider at 38:50 was totally zapped. Do you see that in the modern day? I'm sure it still happens

I’ve still got some spanners and bits that I had as a teenager, an old dog bone spanner I have must be over 60 years old (my Grandfather gave it to me)

I have some spanners and a puncture repair kit plus travel pouch which are about 35 years old. I bought those when I became a "grown up" bike rider and started regularly riding over 30 miles.

I keep thinking of throwing them away then I end up keeping them for sentimental reasons. :becool:

I was given mafac tools , one of the old club guys noticed I had mafac canti brakes on a touring bike. Another 2 spanners are in a winter bike tool kit, good for mudguard adjustment.
