A busy week next out on the bike.

Hi again.
Next week is going to be a busy one cycling wise.
Sunday I'm off to a cycling festival at the Ironworks near Oswestry. According to there web page it's a celebration of all things to do with cycling including a Penny Farthing race and another section section for pre 86 bikes which would fit in with my old road bike.
Then on Monday I'm heading off the the coast for a seventy mile ride out to see my dad for a belated "fathers day "excuse for a pint with him. Tuesday will be a recovery day before I head off back home again on Wednesday. It will be the most intense bit of cycling I've ever done over such a short time so I've made some contingency plans if I don't make it.
I feel quite excited about it all and looking forward to seeing some lovely Welsh countryside that would simply be missed by just using the car :-)

This time last year I wouldn't of even contemplated doing such things. My horizons where focused on things further afield but there was no quality in what I was achieving. This year I've taken a step back and have set my goals to enjoying a quality life over quantity, and it's so refreshing to now be able to take stock and enjoy life for what it is.
