I'll be cycling from St Ives, so would prefer not to go there for cake if possible! I'm happy with Waresley (That was the cake stop for my first ever forum ride, with none other than @outlash !)

Oh yeah! I remember that, first time I rode with a group from memory . The French lady (Eva?) we rode with turned for a club run at St. Neots CC when I was there some time later.

yeah, I seem to remember the back wheels struggling for grip as we went up Manor Farm Road. The only other time I saw Eva was at the aforementioned club run. I don't think she recognised me.
