Mark doesn't look right. It could be S45, neither five matches the other.Paging @classic33, This was delivered in the post yesterday (although I have only now opened the parcel), and, this is the glass I was referring too with the 'A' prefix under the 545 (York) number.
It is also full of air bubbles, mostly small, but with a few large ones:

Seeing as it is from the preriod of George VI (1936 - 52), I am wondering if it is a wartime one, hence the inferior quality.
Anyway, what does the 'A' stand for?
