I actually enjoy riding on my own much of the time - thinking/daydreaming time, own pace, stop when I like...

I've got mates I sometimes ride with, and a club I sometimes go out with, but I'd never be without my solo rides. It's good for the soul.

I love my solo rides also . Its the only time my mind is totally clear .
Im looking forward to the summer IF I can get time away to take the van and bike further afield .

I spent a few days in Anglesey a couple of years ago.... beautiful place.... wish I'd taken the bike.

+1 here for solo rides. Buddies are good for the pub, but for cycling... nah.
