The pyramide thing actually works!

Well it works about 50% of the time and only works once for a given blade. Think about it
Don't you have to live on a ley line to get a really close shave?

There's really no need to waste money on soaps or brushes. Wet your face with warm water and leave it to soften the bristles for two minutes (you could use the time brushing your teeth) before shaving. Better still, shave after having a shower or a bath.

I've done it this way for years now, no razor burn or any other problems, and I've never had a closer shave.

Here for rides.
So much depends on your skin and the nature of your beard though. No two are the same so each to their own. Merkur, Feather, Trumper skin food and soap, and a badger brush now I'm back in Blighty. On my Scandi sojourn it was a Phillips electric for daily use, or Irma own brand foam and multi-blade disposables if tlh was coming over for the weekend.
