De-gloving can happen when your air bag goes off with your hands in the wrong place too

And this position is the quarter to three position we were all taught when learning to drive.
the new position is twenty five to five to help avoid this horror, so get into the habit.
This is assuming your phone doesn't get embedded in ya face

Oh no you silly boy.....
It was bad enough for me I did know and have seen and treated examples of it.

I'm still none the wiser, if you're going to post a link to something post it, if its unpleasant just use a disclaimer.

I didn't hit the link but I have pictures of some examples of the result on my computer at work for training purposes.

It's common amongst people who work at height and fall in a poorly adjusted harness which just rips the skin clean off.

That’s not a nice story, I had a bike that was forever losing the bar plugs, they just didn’t fit in the bars. I rode it for ages without plugs.

I used to play rugby with a guy who had a finger missing.

He left his wedding ring on during a match.
It was ripped off bringing all the skin and muscle with it.
