Earlier today when I was on my way home from my usual (albeit somewhat shortened) ride. I was stopped at a red light when an impatient gal pulls up behind me wanting to make a right hand turn. She starts honking her horn and inching forward. I finally turn and look at her and ask "Where do you want me to go?" Her response was "I'm turning." She than returned to honking her horn, and inching forward. Trying to intimidate me into moving out of her way.
I could figure out from her actions what her intent was i.e. wanting to make a right hand turn. And had she been polite about it I would have moved to my left to allow her to make her turn. But given her behavior I was not inclined to be accommodating. Fortunately because of the red light and my being stopped she also had to slow down and stop and the only way that she would be able to make her turn was by going very slowly so I knew I wasn't in much if any danger by holding my ground.
