A not so comedy clipped in fall... a sad tale ofa

Mates son took his Wilier carbon bike to uni a couple of weeks ago. The other day he had a comedy clipped in fall outside his flat. Seat stay hit the kerb and broke. Frame written off......

Not necessarily. With the increase in numbers of carbon bikes there is a growth industry in repairing damaged carbon frames.

No problem, also on a wilier although on the front!

Took this pic of some guys where I was working. Seemed ok but looks rough and ready. One of our club members had a frame break near the rear wheel drop out, I think it went somewhere up near Lotus in Norfolk for repair and they did a great job.
