Masterful piece of sarcasm, shame he will never read it. Some people are just so wound up in their own world with total disregard for others.

He might if it was in the local paper - perhaps a mate (of his) might spot it and be kind enough to point it out

I would just lay there looking up at the sky contemplating why the dick head in the 4x4 isn't off road.

Was the driver really red? With any luck, his lazy lifestyle will catch up with him, and his blood pressure will rise, then he'll really be red...

(and for those thinking my humour is a bit too biting: well I've had too many close encounters with selfish people driving these ridiculously large urban tractors that really belong on country farms, so in reality I sympathise with the OP)

Living up to the stereotype, it would appear... GWS you and the bike !

Nice to see we've got the tarring brushes out again. I wonder if it had been a little old lady in a Nissan Note we'd have had the same fun.....

Why not?
Being little and old doesn't mean that someone is necessarily a nicer person. Anyone who exhibits the behaviour shown to pikey deserves some castigation...

Note drivers, I dunno, they're all the same...

Oh good. In that case my turn to apologise to the Focus driver who shaved me with a wing mirror last week. All the same these 5 door hatchback drivers, bunch of tw@ts:banghead:

I should take this opportunity to point out I am not the owner, driver or otherwise of a 4x4/SUV/Chelsea tractor etc*

*Some of this may not be entirely true....

I think you'd be pretty hard pushed to come up a line of expletive deletives if a grey haired old lady stepped out her Nissan clutching her hymn book (cos she was just coming from church), rather than an oafish BMW driver!

But the point was, that the 4x4 driver had sat behind pikey tooting his horn etc while Pikey picked himself up off the road. And if the little old lady had been doing that, why should a hymn book get her off.
And religion is no excuse - just take a look at some of the things till being done today in the name of religion.

wa*ker!
what an absolute idiot you are i mean injury to your bike mainly and injury to yourself is not a excuse to stop somebodies over rich life!
you shall be punished to a week on the dreaded turbo! oh and no club!

sorry replace any time i mentioned you with '4x4 driver'!
the only 4x4 drivers i actually have respect for are real farmers in landrover defenders but they are usually polite and kind enough i find!
the ones i really hate are the ones that expect me to jump off the road on my rigid hybrid bike so they don't have to take their OFFROAD car OFFROAD!
no i make a point of waving rather obviously or shouting thanks at any offenders as to make them aware of what they have done and make them feel guilty
that even applies to those who completely ignore the fact i have just jumped off my bike and onto the grass curb for them to pass me!

anyway hope you and your bike heal well and quickly in time for this weekends audax :B)
Cheers Ed
