FTFY as well. "I" is a capital, never anything else, is it laziness or they do not teach English at your school? Apologies if English is not your first language, but even so.
Abject apologies also for slightly derailing the thread.
Sorry, this is when I claim Swedish is my mother tongue!
Cheers Ed

Masterful piece of sarcasm, shame he will never read it. Some people are just so wound up in their own world with total disregard for others.
Just thought I would add some humour to what sounds like what could have been a nasty incident, In all honesty I have no time for these type of people, we have a problem with this sort at my sons school who think they can do whatever they like and park wherever they like to the point where our local council and community police have got involved and despite being told/ warned about where they park they still do it!, it's the attitude of 'Meh' I'm afraid.

Ah, it wasn't that bad an accident, I'm sure there are many that have had worse, and tbh, cos I landed on my feet, all I have is a bit of a sore back, think I must have jarred it, came off very lucky really. Trouble was I spent most of last night with the 'what if' thoughts going through my head and failed to sleep much with visions of faceplants and involuntary eating of kerbstones , so at work I was a very tired and grumpy Pikey indeed, might need to apologise to that manager after my response in the meeting today

The bike however... Stripped it down and it seems that hitting the deck on the non drive side pedal has borked the bottom bracket and that seems to have been what the nasty sound on the way back was.

Its one of the tiagra hollowtech ones, but ironically I only put it on the bike for another audax that I did just under a month ago. Didn't really get my moneys worth from that , tbh it could also be the accumulation of hideous road grime from the afore mentioned ill fated ride.

Still I should hopefully have fixed her by the weekend if the parts come, tough old bird that winter bike...
