One way of marking the start and end of the ride is to take a pebble from one side of the country to the other.

I've read of people doing that on other coast to coast rides but hadn't thought of doing it for twotr. Good idea.

I sometimes forget how easily I tire but today reminded me. All I did was mow the front garden and it's whacked me out, been sleeping the entire afternoon. I think if nothing improves health wise by August I might even add in a rest day halfway through.
