I'm still a search and rescue volunteer but the MTB training has tailed right off with so sign of when it may resume, and the virus situation has put paid to a lot of casual time passing opportunities. Hell, now Jeremy Kyle has fallen from grace there's not even anything on tv to waste time with.

My mum stood for the parish council. Despite all the local residents assuring her that she would have their vote ... she got 2 votes.

It was over Christmas dinner a couple of years later she went to my dad "at least you voted for me". Cue silence. And then "I didn't".
