Moved to general cycling as Rider's Tales is intended for in-depth write-ups of specific rides you've been on.

For my part though, I'd add the A1079 Hull to York road. Only did it once. That was enough!! :eek:

I like the A1079 or more accurately the bit between York and Pocklington.

It's boring (the A6). Not particularly busy at weekends. Used to use it for team time trial practice.

Depends on which bit you're talking about. Sometimes do the downhill stretch to the Ferodo roundabout turnoff and it's no big deal.
Wouldn't fancy the stretch on towards New Mills though
