I have quite a few modern remixes and edits of their tunes , I wonder if the new income and exposure got them out of retirement.

Bands only ever reform for one reason - they need the money.

Don't make any assumptions, they are a bit of gay icon band. I'm sure Dayvo wasn't just being a misogynist....

I think fair enough release an album, The tour as a bunch of holograms, reeks of money making opportunism. Better off going to see Bjorn Again or a n other tribute act if you want a live abba experience.

I'd be surprised if they are that hard up given their album sales when people actually paid for recorded music (ABBA Gold has spent 1000 weeks in the charts in the UK alone), Royalties, Mamma Mia (grossed over $600m, plus stage show) etc And the ABBA museum in Stockholm

Quick Google suggests their 2020 net worth as a band estimated at $800m, couple of hundred mil each

I am reminded of this comedy track which was played, on Radio 2,in 1975/6 by, I think David Hamilton, as "a track from ABBA back in 1966"
