Goodness, this started in 2019.

I think it's time I started again, using different villages this time.

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
When I did it I finished it in Zouch in Nottinghamshire. I had to wait quite a while for the stars to align so I could get there by bike. For X I just chose a place with X somewhere in the name (I went with Plaxtol in Kent.

Yesterday, far too hot, but O for Ottershaw.

I have a few choices for 'P',all within my current fitness range (which is shocking compared to late 2023 when I pretty much hung the bike up). Q is a bit more challenging, and realistically a train ride one way, if not both. Sometimes the hardest thing is finding a sign with the place name on, I spend ages on Streetview to find them when planning the route.

Slowly starting to get back into this cycling malarky, and with a cooler morning post dog walk I went off on a slightly shorter, mostly off road amble to grab 'P' for Pirbright.

Spent some time seeking a 'Q'. My nearest would be Quicks Green but extensive searching found no signage at the boundaries and at a 60+ mile round trip is out of my current fitness range (unlike the old me, but I'll get there again). So I've had to fudge and go with a place name, Queen Elizabeth Park.

Completed as an extension of the Pirbright Heritage Trail which I've been doing odd bits of recently. My longest ride in 2026, and also brought up 21,000 miles completed on the Boardman CX Team.
