You can buy the individual links direct from Cartier, my wife has a ladies Panthère in stainless steel and gold, we replaced a couple of the links a few years ago which had worn out over time.

But be warned they are super expensive, it’ll cost another £300-£500 to lengthen the bracelet and that’s buying used links off eBay.

Ye God's man. You'll never be admitted to thr Jupiter Club wearing a Casio. You'll have to ask the valet to lend you one of the communal Piagets.

Well, that's Bill Gates out then.

Which is far too much cost and hassle for me!! There's something about that Cartier watch that isn't quite right 🤔£2,500 is very inexpensive compared to the same watch being sold in a few online outlets. My intuition said possible fake, either known or unknown to the seller, but still possible fake!

Which is much what I said upthread too.

BTW, if you're looking at places like Chrono24, then yes, their prices are rather inflated, but I also believe that includes a commission. So don't take those listings as gospel. Your best bet to establish current market value is to look at the sold listings on the Bay of E.

Ask the seller to meet at the jeweller's. The jeweller can then verify if it's real or not and give you a quote for the links.

I did suggest that, causing her to say words to the affect of "Listen! If you doubt me, then f..k off and go and buy someone else's watch ffs"!!! Which kind of makes you think she has something to hide!! 🤔

I expect your monocle fell out at that moment.

£720 in a nearby jeweler's today. Is it worth buying? 🤔

Like the blue sunburst bits of the dial. And the blue strap suits, but the remainder is a bit of a "hmmmmmmmmm" despite the retro 1970s look to it.

This is my latest acquisition. Yes, I know the strap is a tad too narrow, but it's what I had in. The serial no dates it to 1969. Currently looking at a beads-of-rice bracelet for it, but the seller hasn't got back to me on whether it's the right size.
