"Fifty years ago women couldn't get a mortgage or a loan without a man. Then on 29 December 1975 everything changed as Sex Discrimination Act began"
Paul Lewis.

Women could get a mortgage before 1975. The 1975 act prohibited banks from denying financial services to men or women on the basis of Gender.

I have my doubts too, but I'll try one to see! (I'll give it a scrub with a nailbrush first though.)

The only bit I'm not eating is the end of the Kiwi that's has a hard circular section, presumably the end that attaches to the rest of the plant.

And give the skin a quick sprinkle of water.

I've finished my net of six eating everything except that tough bit, first Kiwis I've had all year I think, partly because my better half thinks she is at least partially allergic to them. Will put another net in our food delivery next weekend.

In China EV truck/lorry sales seem to have now doubled per year. One interesting fact is that CATL truck battery swap stations cover 95% of truck/lorry EVs there, though I doubt many, if any, are imported there. But it shows that world design has to follow Chinese standards here in order to compete.
It is no doubt the exact the same for battery safety standards, China also setting a lead.
