Good. It sounds like the culvert I nearly drowned in hasn't collapsed then. My endeavours weren't in vain. The Mason's Arms was definitely past the section I was responsible for, honest, yer honour.

Well, the first chain waxing was finished Sunday. All went pretty smoothly (see what I did there?).
Took the bike out for today for the first time. Fantastic. After I'd committed to a YBN chain, I read somewhere that some people find them noisy. Not a bit of it. Today was the quietest my bike has ever been Every gear change was just as crisp as usual, and I ran all the way through the combos, including ones I don't/shouldn't use, just to check. Even the silly small chainring to small cog where I have to use trim to get rid of chain rub.
Looking down at the chainset and seeing this...
...instead of the usual sticky, oily, black mess is very rewarding.
