Another vote for Land Cruisers - I've got them on my hybrid and they're a good on road while still having enough grip for some off road fun.

They're cheap as chips too.

I'm running Land Cruiser+ and Delta Cruiser+ on different bikes. I run 700 x 35c on my Pioneer hybrid, anything narrower is too skinny, IMHO. A hybrid isn't a racing bike, and skinny tyres give a harsh ride. Land Cruiser is better suited to non-extreme MTB fitment, and Delta Cruiser is more road-biased. Note that the + version of the tyres have a higher level of puncture resistance, than the basic version. I obtained mine from Chain Reaction for less than £12 a tyre.

Wow. Thanks so much for all your replies. Looks like it will be the land cruisers, but I think I might take Bigs682 advice and get some wear out of these, while I ride 30-45 mins every other day to build my fitness strength and endurance.
Cheers
Simon.
