OK its that time of year again when we're all thinking, "maybe I should start doing some christmas shopping". Well I am .
Him in doors has just said don't buy me anymore cycle shirts or clothing in general so I'm stuck on what to buy him. I always try to buy him something he doesn't expect and as he doesn't wear aftershave I thought I might treat him to some.
He says he doesn't like wearing it yet he always comments on his mates when he's been on a lads night out.
So begs the question; What would you recommend boys?

If he doesn't wear aftershave then don't buy any.

I don't wear aftershave, or any perfumed stuff but folks keep spending their hard earned income on it. Still trying to get rid of three cans of Lynx spray from 2 (or was it 3) years ago!

Get him some Lego Technic? A Machine Mart cycle shop gift voucher? A book/DVD of heavy haulage trucks cycling?

I don't go for aftershave either, but I keep being bought it - maybe people are trying to tell me something  I don't like being bought novelty junk either. Beer, chocolate, clothes (in a bigger size than the previous christmas :cry:) are more my kinda thing.

Sometimes the most appreciated gifts are things he buys for himself, but a posher/harder to come by version, like a beer that's not sold by the big supermarkets. Im easily impressed by Belgian beers that I cant just pick up at Tesco

I would recommend you buy something else. If he doesn't wear it now then the only time he will wear it, is when you go out together because he thinks he should wear it or it would upset you.

I have countless bottles of aftershave that people keep giving me every Christmas. I find trying to wear aftershave is the equivalent of pouring petrol on my face and setting fire to it.

Good to put it in the car windscreen washer bottle for the winter....

Postive Reason 18,584 for my marriage breakup. No need to smile and thank anyone for $hitty aftershave at Christmas anymore.

Aftershave stings like hell. I never use it. What I do put on is some soothing, moisturising face cream, which softens and replenishes my skin (because I'm worth it). Nivea For Men, something like that might be a good present.

I'd agree - aftershave is not nearly as comfortable to slap on the manly visage than a soothing moisturising cream or crème.

They come in many different smells fragrances - Nivea is nice, as are some of the M&S ones, as are ... och - loads of them ! ^_^
