I would like to point out that it has become obvious that it's going to take me a lot of effort to begin to recognise the difference between birdsong and noises from my bike.

On one of my loops, going through a woody tree lined road, I hear a noise of a car right behind me. But when I look, there is nothing there. Put it down to the wind blowing through the trees and my helmet or was it a ghost car?
On my commute, I go underneath a main powerline in the middle of nowhere. On quiet days, I can hear it humming and buzzing and on windy days, it resonates the theme from a ghost film.
