Sounds like the noise the brakes on my car makes.

On one of my loops, going through a woody tree lined road, I hear a noise of a car right behind me. But when I look, there is nothing there. Put it down to the wind blowing through the trees and my helmet or was it a ghost car?

On my commute, I go underneath a main powerline in the middle of nowhere. On quiet days, I can hear it humming and buzzing and on windy days, it resonates the theme from a ghost film.

Dogs don't see a human on a bike. They see a strange alien being with wheels which could be a threat to their master.

That lower noise floor has left a lot more headroom in town for the cries of angry motorists, window-rattling sub-woofers and the snap, crackle and pop of overtuned Corsa exhausts on the overrun which are currently in season round here 😄
