Aha, that's what was rattling.

Last week I decided to do a strip and clean, on the drivechain on my Boardman Roady. For some reason, I thought it would be a great idea to do it after coming back from a few jars at the pub. I got it all done and rebuilt in record time.
However, when I rode it, there was an irritating rattle coming from the rear of the bike. I haven't ridden it until today, so I thought I'd have a look see if I could solve the rattle. Who knew that putting a 9 speed spacer, for a 10 speed cassette, and trying to do the Shimano cassette, up with a Sunrace lockring, would cause a rattle. Ah well, it seemed like a great idea at the time.

I had a rattle like that from the mudguards, thought the screw on the chainstay mount had worked loose only to find the riv-nut had worked loose and the screw itself was nice & tight. Superglue for now, whilst Giant consider warranty matters..
