Hi
Every so often I routinely check my tyres for wear and tare.
The last time I checked all four tyres they looked in good condition which was about three weeks ago.
This morning when I arrived at work I gave them another quick look over, and was shocked to see the two front ones were completely bald on the inside edge ( They looked like a Right said Fred convention)
The first thing that sprung to mind was that the tracking must of gone out of alignment.
An immediate trip to the tyre depot resulted in 2 new tyres and getting the tracking sorted.
It turned out the wheels were "out" by 2 degrees which probably doesn't sound much, but from doing a little research on Google it's apparently quite a lot.
The only thing I think of that's probably knocked it out of kilter was the huge pot hole I hit a couple of weeks ago.
They were only six months old too.
Ahhh the joys of motoring 😕

Keep the alignment ruined, slam your suspension and claim you've stanced your car next time.

Years ago I clearly remember that the council would spray white or yellow paint around pot holes.I don't know whether this to highlight the pot hole's to be repaired or it was done to warn motorists/cyclist of the hazard ahead..
I personally found it useful in avoiding the dam things as you can see painted markings on the road better compared to the water filled pot holes that seem to be everywhere nowadays

I think it is to mark potholes for repair, but they then leave the repair so long the pothole grows and swallows any sign of the paint, which makes me wonder why they bother.
