Aldi bits and bobs

I'm new here but thought' I'd chip in.

I bought some Lidl gloves, LED lights, saddle, pump and helmets recently - all brilliant. I wanted the paniers but at £16.99 and the fact I wouldn't use them much I decided against it. Was in there last Saturday and got them for £1.50 as they were having their clear out sale!! Also got some nice cycle shorts for 50p. It pays to wait.

LIDL - SALE my brain has just fried!

I just got 2 long sleeved jersey's from Aldi. The cheaper one that you have to pull over your head is superb value for £8.99. The winter jacket also seems great for £15.99 but I have not used it yet. It is a quite a bit thicker than my Endura FS260 windproof long sleeved jersey but then again it was nearly 1/4 the price. I have a feeling it will be warmer too, the Endura stuff maybe looks a bit better and is not as bulky but I doubt it is worth paying nearly 4 times as much for.

LIDL - SALE my brain has just fried!

Well our local Lidl seems to radomly (usually on a Saturday) dump all their left over non-food stock (i.e. the specials) into bargain boxes of 50p, £1, £5, £10 etc. It's mayhem when the natives get wind of it happening and we stumbled across our local doing on last weekend. Got a few brilliant bargains. My niece is a trainee manager at another Lidl and she's going to give me the nod when her store is having one
