i think it's a 30 day returns policy... but keep your receipt as it will make things easier should you decide return it.

As above, Aldi have a fantastic returns policy so if it's not what you're looking for you can take it back without any hassle.

Coincidentally I was in Aldi earlier and noticed these. It's got 5 heat settings.
According to the magazine its not supposed to be on sale until Sunday 7th.

we have one very similar , coal instead of log effect, cant fault it .mrs roadrash sometimes just has it lit up but without any heat output, because it looks warm 
Yep........thats the one.
In the "back room" we have an oil filled type radiator but it takes for ever to heat up and just looks cold.
We need something that looks warmer and is quicker.

I currently have a lava lamp in my fireplace... that looks warm too.
I've already talked myself out of that particular flame effect heater because it looks like the heat output comes from the top, which would be partially under the cast iron hood of the hearth and therefore not very efficient. They also have an electric woodburner for £50 which kicks the heat out of the front, so might get that instead.

I have an electric woodburner type. It's pretty much a fan heater in fancy dress. It does the job, looks nice, but is fairly loud. not really a problem for me as I don't really use it, but might be if you want to listen to TV/music whilst having it on. Me and my partner were sat in front of it the other evening, but it made her very hot so we had to have it off.
