Got some of their winter gloves yesterday for £2.49. Great at the price. Might sound a bit silly but they don't feel any less comfortable than my sealskins and they cost quite a lot more!

The one near us is also having a clear out, but it's all a bit jumble saley with lots remaining stock crammed into quite a small place. Be prepared to rummage!

Not much in my size (and some stock not reduced by that much), but I did get a pair of the performance wool cycling socks for £1.99 (were £3.99).

Their tool kits are down to a tenner too. Not exactly Teng levels of quality, but decent enough and a steal at 1000 pence.

Possibly. Now I think on, all the supermarkets are probably like that. I just get peed off by the stock corporate answers to the questions raised.

I just hope I'm never in one when it catches fire though.

I think the pricing of clearance items must be manager's discretion, the box mine came in is marked with the original price, then £19.99 £9.99 respectively.
