Aldi winter cycle gear

Blimey, I got some lobsters in size medium, you must have hands like a clown

Favourites Aldi gear is the Winter jacket, gloves and the socks, tried tights/cycling pants but the shape and pad were awful.

Well I could pull on the small ones but they felt tight, so it was either the XL or nothing. I would probably been after the large ones, as it have fairly large hands but they are longer and slimmer than a man's hand. I have long arms, fingers and legs so more like a monkey than a clown!

I bought one of the HRMs about eight years ago, I'm pretty sure it was that price then. It's still going strong, although I don't usually wear it nowadays. It had all the features I need. Well worth it.

Called in to Aldi's and walked out with top and bottom base layers, winter long sleeve top, puncture repair kit and the light kit. Pretty happy with my purchases. All i need now is time to go out on the bike!

Wore the winter long sleeve top today and it was rather warm !

I think it will come in very handy on those frosty mornings.

Had a feeling it would be a bit hot at the moment but it won't be long until it's needed. The quality of the tops seemed good I thought for a tenner.

Bought a rain jacket on line which is to small so I may go back to aldi's to pick one up as they seemed decent enough.

Bought the helmet cover - too small! - and no, I don't have a huge head. Don't have much luck at Aldi. Didn't like the naff reflective bits on most of the longs, they somehow manage to cheapen the look of even the 'pro' stuff. Gloves OK for 4.99

I'm returning the trousers and jacket that I bought. The trousers make me feel like I'm wearing 20 panty liners. I put the jacket on this morning and my husband said that he didn't realise that Five Star were auditioning for new members! On the plus side, I do like the lights that I got
