Something that doesn't seem to have been mentioned yet is that the handlebar on a road bike is narrower which means you may find the steering feels twitchy at first compared to your current bike.

Again it's something you'll get used to and will feel completely natural after a few rides.

works both ways i found steering odd on a flat bar when i rode one.

@Trigger369 as i always offer if anywhere close to Wellingborough Northamptonshire you are more than welcome to pop in and go for a spin on one of my road bikes
