Anyone have any experience of these?

Am looking to use them as winter / night-time commute gloves as the ones I'm currently using are pretty pants once the temperature dips below 5C. I've tried them on in a shop and they fit me nicely (small size) compared to a lot of other gloves I've tried, but would appreciate some practical feedback.

That narrows down the choice to almost nothing. Actually, while I was trying stuff on, I found ladies gloves don't really fit my small hands very well - fingers too long if the cuff / palm is spot on, or cuff too narrow if the fingers are ok. The Alturas were one of the few that actually fit.
Can always get a thin pair of liners from the camping shop in town for when it gets *really* cold.
