I have two electric hand blenders - on one the whisk works, on the othe the blender works. Should I hrow them both away and get a new one on which both blender and whisk works? Isn't that wasteful?
Phht, don't be silly. If you ever wanted to make a version of Edward Scissor hands that would be useful for baking then you'd already have half the bits you'd need surely? In fact why haven't you already created a robotic Mary Berry? Perhaps your problem is laziness not hoarding? I suggest the only logical course of action to take is to build an unweildy army of the night using all the bits and bobs you've hoarded, each one could have a special power related to the hoarded bobbin you've used. I'd personally be terrified of 'Broken Mug Man'.
However, as a word of warning, if in your lab / the kitchen late one night you stand back to admire a newly 'born' poo bag man then you may have cross a line and sinned against nature.
