Am I over-reacting?

As the title says, am I over-reacting? I had what I felt to be a close pass/cut-up this morning on the way to work. However after a chat with someone about the video i'm unsure if I should of been so worried about it.

I see no reason for the driver to get this close, there was no traffic behind and both lanes were going forward. I would guess maybe the low sun may have something to do with it, either not appreciating the distance correctly or not seeing you entirely.

Only sound was me hitting the horn, which led to the driver making a hand gesture at me.

id of thought that too until last week where im almost certain it stopped me getting squashed by a lorry trying to squeeze between me and a car in lane 2 at red lights. he stopped dead when I hit the horn.
