Very true.
Or "she's riding a motorcyle? How did she get out of the kitchen..."
That would be an outrage.

Touche Madam, touche I say.She works as a chef. It was her day off.![]()
Not sexist.....but the bike designer should be shot, it looks horrible.........perhaps a pink colour would be better

The thing is that whilst people may feel it is a sexist thing to automatically assume she is a bloke, it is only women like her who blur the boundaries.
Look at this pic of a big hairy bloke filling the tank of his 180mph bike after riding it 900 miles.
.....
Look again at the painted nails(yes it is another one of her pics)
Getting offended is a bit silly, IMO, unless the person getting it wrong has ignored obvious signs. If you're going to be offended if someone mistakes your gender, make it obvious in your avatar/username/whatever!What I will aslo add is that people do make assumptions on gender when the information is limited. I've done it myself a couple of times on here with members due to their posting style, or something ambiguous which they have posted up, and wrongly identfied a woman as a man, and a man as a womam (which appeared to deeply offend them both)
There are a lot more women riding roadies than are riding sports motorcycles, but the ones (bikers) I have ridden out with have been very very competent.
