Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted
I have both.

Prime is the one I would keep if I had to get rid of one, mainly because of the other features; i.e. free next day delivery, unlimited photo storage, free kindle lending library, and something to do with music that I haven't worked out yet. I don't have time to watch all the TV on both, but I keep Netflix because I have given my impoverished London emigre daughter a profile which works from my account.

One annoying thing about Prime TV is that whilst some content is "free", you have to pay for the later seasons of some shows; e.g. seasons 1 & 2 of Ray Donovan are "free" with your membership, but seasons 3 & 4 have to be paid for per episode in addition to your membership fee, but via Amazon (even without a Prime membership) you can get more or less anything you care to name that has ever been broadcast if you are happy to pay. Whilst all Netflix content is available via your subscription, they don't always have the later seasons of shows, although they usually become available at some point.

I had an android box and it was naff so I binned it. I have Kodi on one of my computers and whilst it can get most TV shows, films and sports, it can sometimes be hit & miss and take some time to find what you are looking for.

Get a kindle fire stick with kodi installed. Then you can watch everything and pay nothing.

I've got an Android box with Kodi/Showbox, and all that free content is mind boggling. Technically, due to a quirk/oversight in the law, it's legal too, so long as you watch it as it streams and don't download it.

Watching films in glorious surround sound HD before they're even in the UK cinema is good stuff.

I watched the Reveneant in HD for free 2 weeks before it came out here. I was watching Sully in late October for free.

Just watching a film on our Minix Neo U1, fantast bit of kit!.

We have Netflix but I haven't watched anything on it for months..

I feel naughty.
Don't you feel naughty ?
Naughty's great.
I like naughty.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I feel verging on naughty. While not technically illegal it is morally questionable. Fortunately I have a lack of moral fibre.

Yes. we all know that by now.

We have both, they generally pay for themselves as i get to watch some decent TV shows via both platforms.

on top of that my daughter loves the kids section on Netflix so it definitely pays for it self each month.
Is there anywhere where you can just rent a film out now without getting involved in some contract, since the demise of the video shops it is very difficult to get to see recent films. We have to wait until stuff comes on normal TV which can be years after release - it seems to be another example of the world getting crapper
iTunes.

More sensibly

I found a lot more from Amazon when I added the music, books, and other benefits (as well as saving on delivery costs) and stuck with this.
