Anyone any experience ?
Today I have received a correctly addressed (to me) parcel for a item I never ordered, never looked at, and have no interest in.
The item on Amazon is valued at £150 plus. I thought this type of scam always involved low value items ? I have informed Amazon through the proper channels.
I have changed my Amazon password. There are no unauthoried puchases on my account.
Anything I have missed ? Any advice ?

As a slight aside - I know someone who received a gold coin that turned out to be worth well into 4-figures from Amazon - that they hadn’t ordered. I believe it was correctly (?) addressed to them too. Spoke to / told Amazon of this. And they couldn’t even be bothered to re-contact the receiver or collect the coin………

Yes, you can legally keep it. [1]
If you receive a parcel that is correctly addressed to you, but you never ordered or requested it, these are considered "unsolicited goods" under UK law.

Wish it was something I wanted. ^_^

Why do you say its a scam?
Could it not be a genuine error ?

Anything nice? Or bike related?

Reporting to Amazon and changing passwords is sensible. The company will try to get a review or write one purporting to be you in what's called a 'brushing scam'.

Hmm, a cynical outlook on life maybe ^_^
I guess it could be, however in 20+ years on Amazon the odd times I have received a wrong item they were always listed on my orders.

Yes, I have read about these " brushing scams " If that's the case they are welcome to send me as many items as they wish valued at £150+ and I will happily write them a review. ^_^
