It seemed quick to me, but I can't say I enjoyed it. Like Formula 1; a procession, a war of attrition without much in the way of tactics... or interest. I'd assumed it was me being miserable though, as the weather out was so shitty.

I like it as a race. A lot of jockeying until the final climb, when whoever has the most left can usually win.
I'd rather watch a climb finish than some of the other flat finishes with the freeloading sprinters winning them.
