They weighed it before leaving and Amy's bike, fully loaded (without water I think, but I'm not certain) was 25.5kg and Kyle's was nearly 27kg. So, 'quite a lot' really, whether or not that included liquid. They did appear to have a lot of duplication in their packing; two first aid kits for example, and proper Allen keys in addition to at least one multitool. Perhaps they'll shed some of this along the way !

Mike Hall’s bike setup weighed 16kg, apart from India where he had an extra 2kg. He completed in 90 days plus flights. First to embrace carbon and bike packing aero bags for such an attempt.

Chased by 20 dogs today. Is there a round the world cycling chased by dogs record?
Cool. Good update! They've made it to Istanbul Airport; flying to Bangkok 'tomorrow night'.
👍Is it just me who finds all your posts on this thread have negative connotations towards them? The 'route' will probably get tougher now.

Just stating a fact - they have made good progress so far, but I can see weather/road conditions being far harder for a while. I'm just not a big fan of 'influencers'.
Get back to me once you've ridden 4,645 km at 256 km per-day, and I'll seriously consider funding your "nice little holiday". Sound fair?If I could easily monetise 7 days cycling down the Loire Valley and eating some nice food in the evening then I probably would.
I’m sure you are correct, however I still find it slightly negative. If you’re not keen on ”influencers” you pay a lot of interest!Just stating a fact - they have made good progress so far, but I can see weather/road conditions being far harder for a while. I'm just not a big fan of 'influencers'.
