Mike Hall’s bike setup weighed 16kg, apart from India where he had an extra 2kg. He completed in 90 days plus flights. First to embrace carbon and bike packing aero bags for such an attempt.

Cool. Good update!
I see last night's stop was an epic 13h, way longer than usual, so I'm guessing they got a long way up on schedule with all that tailwind over recent days. I can understand wanting quite a few hours in hand to sort out bike-boxing etc without mega-stress, but I reckon they've bought themselves more "chill" time than originally planned!

Just stating a fact - they have made good progress so far, but I can see weather/road conditions being far harder for a while. I'm just not a big fan of 'influencers'.

Fine go ahead and have a big cycling tour / journey / adventure holiday.
Dressing it up as an amazing world record attempt grates a bit, as its so niche its rarely attepted, and with no go war zones its not very round the world at all..
Blasting it out of social media grates a bit too, but in their shoes I'd probably do the same, because the clicks and sponsorship from SM is paying for the holiday.
If I could easily monetise 7 days cycling down the Loire Valley and eating some nice food in the evening then I probably would.

I’m sure you are correct, however I still find it slightly negative. If you’re not keen on ”influencers” you pay a lot of interest!
Having followed her channel since the beginning, if she is a so called “influencer“ it is a reluctant one. Who would turn down the opportunities she has been given? Personally I don’t think she is an influencer I think of her ( and now Kyle) more as someone who is just sharing their experiences on you tube. Sure all her sponsors are there for the coverage they get but that’s not her problem and she plays it down quite well in my opinion.
