Mechanicals this morning. Not set off. This is where knowing more about bikes is important. Looks like they are waiting for a bike shop to sort it. No 6am start.

Supposedly, from Instagram, an issue of some kind with the gears on Amy's bike. Rather odd, in that the bikes were serviced on arrival, so you'd think the mechanic who did it would have notied such a fundamental problem :-\ Also odd that it's taken eight hours to not fix, so far. It's hard to imagine what would be so problematic on a mechanical system for which they have spares themselves, even if the bike shop doesn't.

Could have knocked the gears, could be a shifter fault after the bikes were collected. If you've got the knowledge, you could at least be on the way - depends upon what spares are carried. They may have a spare mech, but would they have a 'brifter'. At least you'd know, and go to the shop and say 'xx is broken'. If it's a major fail, they are at least in a big city and GRX parts should be available.

Derailleur hangar bent ?
Would hope they had spares. Its one of those cycle parts IMO that should be a standard design or at least standard for each bike type.

SRAM have 'tried' to standardise with the UDH hangar, but not sure if these are fitted with it.
