Both got colds. Hers caught from some kids in a McDonald's and his delayed so maybe from her.

Kids... not shook mine for four weeks, so I hope they do better. Might have to knock the miles down a little for a few days. Blimey.

I assume there must be some sort of manual somewhere on how to be a YouTuber that says that it is vital to have certain catchphrases or other things that you always say or do as they all seem to have that without fail.

Yep I've noticed this with many YouTubers. They all seem to have to give their viewers some kind of name, they can't just refer to them as viewers.

Supposedly, from Instagram, an issue of some kind with the gears on Amy's bike. Rather odd, in that the bikes were serviced on arrival, so you'd think the mechanic who did it would have notied such a fundamental problem :-\ Also odd that it's taken eight hours to not fix, so far. It's hard to imagine what would be so problematic on a mechanical system for which they have spares themselves, even if the bike shop doesn't.

Yeah I wondered what was going on here. Just been in to get serviced, comes out from service & can't be ridden. Bit weird, no?

Also those videos she made with her bike mechanic back home, shame they didn't cover this

I'm intrigued were folk are getting their information from on this ride? They were posting daily on instagram, but that seems to have stopped after Asia and there's nothing on youtube that I can see.

Since their tracker has stopped working, the tracking page is also redunadant. It seems this thread is the only way to keep up with how their getting on!

I find gravelkings are quite a sticky tyre good at picking up debris certainly had quite a few punctures with the non plus version. Wouldn’t be my choice for durability and Southern Australia in the winter gets some strong winds coming from Antarttica!

Their tracker has just popped up for the first time in Australia.

I wonder if it'll ever be known what was actually wrong with one of the bikes and the tracker after their flight from Singapore.

Presume all will be revealed in the next podcast and in the video series when they get home.

Not sure why you’re not seeing it but both their instagram have been reporting consistently. Also as said elsewhere there are shorts on youtube daily.

the followmychallenge page has a "Photo" tab, which for this ride shows Amy's Instagram posts. But this week's kerfuffle suggests that it only shows SOME of her Insta! Confusing. (I hadn't bothered to look on youtube, that's something I can save for a wet lunchtime!)
